Kendriya Vidyalaya is a system of central government schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The system came into existence in 1962 under the name “Kendriya Vidyalaya” and has been affiliated to CBSE since then. Later it was renamed as Kendriya Vidyalaya. Kendriya Vidyalaya Patratu was established in the year 1981 to impart education and polish the students. It has its own grand concrete building having spacious classrooms, large library of good books, well equipped computer lab, a level playground surrounded by high boundary wall on all sides to provide a safe and suitable environment for the all-round development of the personality of the children. Quality education is imparted by highly educated teaching staff. It is a co-educational institution from I to XII.
